We're Swapping Stories

Love and All Its Things

I think about love often. My conversations with friends and clients will veer to love in one way or another. Whether it is about new love, broken love or confused love, this is a subject that draws everyone in.

As a relational enthusiast I am intrigued by how one word means so many different things for everyone. The mention of love transports each of us to different worlds where joy, pain, strength, fear, hope and emptiness exist together in a complex combination. There really is no way for my definition of love to accurately encapsulate your experience of the same.

So I asked...

Last year I invited people from my Instagram community to share their stories about love and their experience of it. We exchanged stories about passionate romances, deeply intricate love between friends, chaotic and layered love for family, and the complex love for ourselves.

Check out some of these stories here.

Extending a new invitation

This year I'd like to extend the same invitation to you- an invitation to share your experience of Love and All its Things. As you share yours, get to see the journey that others have been on.

* Where did you learn to love?

* How has love been shared in the communities you belong to?

* What hurts have you experienced in the name of love? and,

* What does a fulfilling and nourishing love look, sound and feel like for you?
